Summer Bishil has been an American actor since 2015. She's known as Margo Hanon in the Syfy Fantasy Fiction series The Magicians. Her previous role as a Lebanese American young woman Jasira who is undergoing many personal trials with the backdrop of the U.S. conflict in Iraq was part of Alan Ball's feature film Towelhead. Later, in 2007 Variety declared her to be one of its 10 Actors-to-Watch. She portrayed another character of great power Taslima Jahangir in 2009's thriller Crossing Over for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category. In addition, she has appeared in films like The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and she has appeared in a variety of guest roles on television apart from playing the co-lead in Lucky 7.
